I worked in the private sector for 30 years, then completed a specialized degree in Marketing Psychology at SUNY. During that time I taught Public Speaking for 20 years outside the school system. I learned how to write when great writing was expected of anyone in professional journalism. I was later mentored by influence expert and bestselling author Dr. Robert Cialdini. Dr. Cialdini taught me how to get readers to want to read a piece and make a greater impact with my writing. SUNY awarded me 16 credits for what I learned from this world renowned expert.
In addition, I taught Public Speaking for 20 years. I requested 2 credits for prior learning in Public Speaking at SUNY. After reading my essay and hearing one of my talks, the evaluating professor awarded me 6 credits. I'm passionate about teaching and genuinely care about those I tutor. I want to see my students succeed.
