One of my favorite parts of teaching is helping students who feel frustrated or overwhelmed by math realize that they CAN do it. I break challenging concepts into clear, manageable steps and adjust my explanations based on how each individual student learns best. My special education background has given me extensive experience differentiating instruction and finding alternative ways to explain a concept when the first approach doesn’t click.
My goal isn’t simply to help students finish their homework. I want them to understand why the math works, build confidence in their abilities, and develop strategies they can use independently in the classroom.
Whether your child needs help catching up, completing homework, preparing for an assessment, or strengthening their overall middle school math skills, I would love to help make math feel more manageable—and maybe even enjoyable!
