Greetings, I'm Tiler! I'm 24 years old and I'm a working class musician. As a former student of Berklee College of music, I have and will continue to dedicate most of my time to the craft of music. I've previously taught older students interested in improving their guitar playing and musicianship. I have worked with a few producers including Scotty Coleman ( Drake and Kendrick Lamar's Producer), have been playing in gospel churches and on gospel gigs for 3 years now and have countless hours in guitar playing for General Business (GB) bands in the Boston Area. I am I'm interested in teaching students of all ages currently because I think at this point, sharing my experiences with students willing to excel will be a helpful and great way to give back to the music community.
My Goal is to help make the learning experience fun for you, because our brains make more connections when we are having fun. Our Music lessons will consist of tools / facilities of the guitar and also how to use/apply them in the real world and in music you want to play. I will also cover efficient ways to practice, and what's expected of you as a professional musician. I'll plan out lessons to help you learn what you want to learn but also give you techniques and music theory knowledge that will help you become familiarize the fretboard, and most importantly, to better express yourself.
With roots deep in blues, funk, R and B, and rock, and further studies of Jazz music I can teach most styles of music Except classical guitar. If you want to learn classical music on guitar you would be wasting your time studying with me because I have little to no experience or training in that lol. But if you wanna learn blues, gospel, jazz, hiphop/R and B, Rock, Pop, Funk, Odd Meter times, Jazz Music, song writing techniques, how to improve your timing, how to become a better musician, let me help you!
