In math, I tutor basic math, pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, probability, pre-calculus, and Calculus I. I currently tutor a 7th-grade student in algebra and adapt my teaching style to each student’s level and learning needs.
In science, I support general science as well as biology, anatomy, genetics, chemistry, and organic chemistry. My optometry training helps me explain complex scientific concepts clearly and logically. I also help undergraduate students break down and better understand scientific research papers.
I’m bilingual in English and Spanish and tutor reading and writing in both languages. I previously worked at a university Center for Composition and Communication, where I assisted students with essays, resumes, and oral presentations.
