Master Step 1 and Science without the Burnout.

Passing Step 1 isn't about memorizing First Aid cover-to-cover; it's about mastering board-style logic and identifying high-yield patterns. As a third-year medical student who successfully passed Step 1 in 2025 and has over 4 years of tutoring experience, I help students bridge the gap between "knowing the facts" and "getting the questions right."

I cleared the Step 1 hurdle using a streamlined, high-yield approach, and I now help my students replicate that success by focusing on the 20% of content that shows up in 80% of the questions.

My Approach: High-Yield & High-Structure Medical education can feel like drinking from a firehose. I don’t believe in lecturing at my students; I believe in active engagement. Our sessions are built around three core pillars:

The "So What?" Method: For every concept we cover, we ask "How will the boards test this?" We focus on differentiating "must-know" high-yield patterns from "low-yield" distractors.

Executive Function Support: I am very ADHD-friendly. I help students break down massive subjects (like Pharmacology or Neuro) into organized, bite-sized checklists. We use structured intervals to maintain focus and ensure every session ends with a clear summary.

Board-Style Thinking: We will spend significant time on "question deconstruction." I teach you how to read a clinical vignette, identify the "lead-in," and rule out distractors using a systematic process of elimination.

Experience You Can Trust I have spent over 4 years mentoring and tutoring students across the biological sciences. Whether it’s helping a pre-med student conquer Biochemistry or guiding a peer through the final weeks of dedicated Step 1 prep, my goal is the same: to reduce your anxiety by providing a clear, manageable path to mastery.

Approved Subjects

Anatomy

Anatomy

With a deep foundation from medical school gross anatomy and clinical rotations, I help students visualize complex systems. I focus on clinical correlations (the 'why') to make anatomical relationships stick.
Biochemistry

Biochemistry

I can simplify the "firehose" of preclinical sciences into logical systems.
Epidemiology

Epidemiology

I have extensive training in epidemiology through formal medical education and applied clinical sciences coursework. My background includes in-depth study of epidemiologic principles such as study design (cohort, case-control, cross-sectional, and randomized controlled trials), measures of disease frequency (incidence, prevalence), measures of association (relative risk, odds ratios), bias and confounding, screening test characteristics (sensitivity, specificity, predictive values), and interpretation of medical literature.
Psychology

Psychology

I focus on the subtle distinctions in psychiatric criteria and ethical scenarios.
Study Skills

Study Skills

I provide a "structured, bite-sized" approach to managing the medical school workload.
USMLE

USMLE

I'm an MS3 medical student with comprehensive training in the foundational medical sciences tested on the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE), including physiology, pathology, pharmacology, microbiology, immunology, and epidemiology. I passed the exam on my first attempt and have 2+ years of experience in tutoring basic sciences that are tested on the exam. I am familiar with the structure, logic, and question patterns commonly used on USMLE exams and help students develop systematic approaches to interpreting clinical scenarios, identifying key information, and eliminating distractors. My instruction emphasizes concept integration, clinical reasoning, and application of foundational science rather than memorization alone.
