I have worked in various roles teaching native Farsi speaking students; subjects included classes in Farsi Literature, Biology, & Math. I started as a teacher to High School students in my early 20’s gaining experience in this challenging and exciting field, and after five years I continued teaching Biology and Math at a Middle School.
In 1971, I was awarded a position as a Principal at a Community College where I prepared students to become teachers. I held this position for two years, after which I settled in Shiraz, Iran with my husband and my family where I continued to work as a teacher at a Middle School where I taught at a school with especially gifted and highly intelligent children, and continued on teaching Middle School level children until retirement.
Over 30-years of teaching at as a professional educator in Shiraz, Iran, I am looking forward to continuing my passion in teaching both young and adult students eager to learn Farsi.
I utilize creative methods in teaching my students, by keeping them engaged and interested in the subject area.
