Hello my name is Adriana! I am a nursing student at PHSU currently finishing my bachelors degree. I am a student with a strong foundation in science, including anatomy and physiology, psychology, math, English and Spanish. My education has helped me develop not only a deep understanding of these subjects, but also the ability to explain them clearly and in a way that feels practical and easy to understand.
I enjoy working with a wide range of students. Alongside my studies, I have over two years of experience tutoring students in 1st through 3rd grade, which has allowed me to develop patience, creativity, and effective teaching strategies for young learners. When working with elementary students, I focus on building strong foundations in reading, writing, and math. I create a positive and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I use simple explanations, step-by-step guidance, and engaging methods to make learning feel less overwhelming and more enjoyable. My goal is to help students build confidence and become more independent in their schoolwork.
I also work with students who need help with science-related subjects, including anatomy, physiology, and nursing courses. I help simplify complex material, reinforce understanding, and support effective study habits. Whether working with younger students or those in more advanced courses, I adapt my teaching style to each individual’s needs. My goal is to not only improve academic performance, but to help every student feel confident, supported, and capable.
