Hello! My name is Leidag, and I am a bilingual Biology, Microbiology, and Spanish tutor with a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, which I earned Summa Cum Laude. I also received the highest GPA in my major for my graduating class and consistently earned a place on the Chancellor’s List. I have one year of professional, one-on-one tutoring experience through a Title V project grant at my college, where I supported students in biology, microbiology, and Spanish.

I work with middle and high school students in Biology and Spanish, college students in Microbiology, and adults learning Spanish. My teaching style is personalized and interactive, with an emphasis on clear explanations, visual diagrams, practice questions, and real-world examples. In Biology and Microbiology, I can help students understand topics such as cell biology, genetics, ecology, and microorganisms. In Spanish, I help students strengthen their grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and conversational skills.

My goal is to create a supportive, low-pressure environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence. I focus on genuine understanding rather than memorization and adapt each lesson to the student’s needs and goals. Whether you are preparing for an exam, working through a challenging science concept, or improving your Spanish, I want you to leave each session feeling more prepared and confident in your ability to learn independently.
