Hello, my name is Adan!
From August 2022 to June 2023, I was an English tutor and assistant teacher to Spanish-speaking high school students at Upward Bound at the University of Sagrado Corazón. From October 2023 to June 2024, I served as an apprentice/researcher in San Juan, PR, through the Mentorship Program in partnership with the Center for Academic Research at the University of Sagrado Corazón. The research was titled “The Influence of Color Theory on Consumer Behavior.” My volunteer experiences included Race to Erase MS in May 2019. This artistic participation in Los Angeles, California, was alongside David Foster and my father, Fernando Allende, to raise funds for people with multiple sclerosis.
I’m currently a graduate student in Counseling Psychology and a reading and writing mentor at Ana G. Méndez University in Puerto Rico for college students.
