Martin was Amazing! I am taking a college level physics course. And I am in panic mode, because all this stuff looks like a foreign language to me. Let's just say that Even after reading through the textbook and attending all of the classes I am still just lost. After just one hour with martin, going over 2 concepts, breaking them down, and going through the formulas, physics seems actually Doable. He is the best kept secret on this platform. His clear, methodical approach and his Concise and Comprehensive communication style is refreshing to say the least. He is very focused and cares about the student. A million thank you's. Amazing Physics Tutor!!!

The Best Physics Tutor on Wyzant

This semester I took Physics 202. I had lessons with 9 other physics tutors and Martin was by far the best. He had diagrams, equations, and visual aids on hand to help me understand the lesson topics. Martin was able to help me with a variety of topics including magnetic fields (Biot-Savart Law and Ampere's Law), magnetic forces, electromagnetic induction (Faraday's Law, inductors, magnetic flux), AC circuits, wave optics, ray optics, and optical instruments. He is by far one of the most knowledgeable tutors I have ever had. Without Martin’s help, I would not have been able to pull off an A for the semester.

My daughter is FINALLY starting to understand Calculus

We've had two lessons with Martin so far, but my daughter can't say enough good things about him and his teaching style. Quick backstory - she is a junior in high school, currently. When she was entering her freshman year she tested into Algebra II. What we didn't realize was that she didn't really "get it," although her test scores showed differently. Sophomore year she had Trigonometry and Pre-Calculus. She passed both classes with average grades. We didn't worry too much as she didn't say that she had been struggling, just that the classes were "harder" than she thought they'd be. Then came Junior year and it all went south. She ended up failing her first semester of Calculus and then told us that she had been struggling with all concepts - even going back to Algebra. Now, she's currently failing her second semester while trying to make up her first semester's grade. Fortunately, in just two lessons with Martin, the lightbulb in her head has switched on and she's actually understanding things much better. If I could swing it, I'd have her seeing him more than once a week. I'm so glad we found someone that is helping my daughter. I was finding it hard to find a tutor that could help, especially given the current situation with the pandemic. We couldn't find anyone local, there were so many different online sites to choose from, we didn't know anyone else that had gone through tutoring, so finding a good fit with Martin has been a blessing. She needed someone to rewind and review the basics with her before jumping into the Calculus concepts. So thankful for the help she's getting!

The good and flexible SATMath tutor

Our daughter reviewed her SAT math with Martin. She is a good student but since in this pandemic she will only have one chance to take the SAT, she felt she needed help to make it as good as possible. Martin worked with her school + varsity sports schedule which was so kind of him. Like a seasoned teacher, Martin quickly diagnosed her weaker points and energetically started repairing them. After only three sessions her SAT math scores were almost perfect. Thank you ! We will come back for Physics:)
