I have specialized training and prior work in teaching, tutoring, communication, leadership, coaching, and experience design.
I started out as a biology and anatomy teacher and also tutored for about ten years. When I switched into college student affairs, I found my 'home' in providing adult students with job skills, academic support, and personal coaching. Then for a while I worked from home, learned about stock markets, and served as a trading room contributor and trainer. I returned to tutoring and also began to help adults with resume writing, interview prep, and presentation success. When AI started making headlines, I became fascinated by its possibilities and the growing necessity of human connection in our digitally-driven lives, and I was also ready for a work transition of my own. Now once again I am doing the work I love - supporting people to believe in themselves, to work better for the things they care about, and to contribute positively to society.
