I'm Ryan, glad to meet you! I graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, emphasizing Data Science. I spent the first couple of years out of college developing software for Amazon. In the current day and age, technology has grown leaps and bounds. I want to help you learn and navigate topics about Software Development, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and more.

I am passionate in these fields and have spent many hours in both my personal and professional career studying and working on these topics, from AWS pipelines, to Deep Learning Sentiment Analysis, and even applying Machine Learning to video games! My teaching experience has been primarily one on one in a professional setting with college interns for a year, but I also have tutoring experience with my college peers in general computer science topics. One of the tenets I picked up from my time at Amazon is to treat every day as the first day and I always have that in mind as I tutor.

My process of tutoring is simple. We'll first develop a roadmap of what you want/need to learn, what you need help with, and how you learn best. We'll go over the topics you are currently studying, one piece at a time, and break them down. I am a firm believer in getting to the heart of what you may struggle with, not just addressing the immediate issues and concerns. Never feel afraid to ask questions or interrupt. I will always wrap up a tutoring session with an opportunity for questions and extra resources for studying. The goal is to make sure you internalize what you are studying and can apply it to future career and academic opportunities.
