I am a certified Dyslexia Practitioner and Orton-Gillingham trained tutor with a Pennsylvania Teaching Certification (K–6) and over 15 years of experience working with students of diverse learning needs. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from Millersville University and completed my teacher certification at York College of Pennsylvania, where I also student-taught in a 4th grade classroom. In addition to my Orton-Gillingham certification through the Children’s Dyslexia Center of Lancaster, I hold a Dyslexia Advocate Certificate from the Dyslexia Training Institute, which equips me to guide families through IEPs, 504 plans, and special education services.
As the owner of Elevare Tutoring & Educational Services, I have tutored students in grades K–8, specializing in structured literacy for struggling readers and students with dyslexia. I also support learners in math, writing, and science, always tailoring lessons to their individual strengths and needs. My goal is to build not only academic skills but also confidence, so every student can experience success in the classroom and beyond.
