Hello! I am Braden. I just completed my second year of study at the University of Alabama. I spent my first two years as a Geology and Environmental Science major, and I just switched to Chemical Engineering. I am a 4.0 GPA student in college, and in high school, I graduated second in my class, earned a 1500+ score on the SAT, and earned a full-ride scholarship to college for being a National Merit Scholar. I have had a passion for learning for as long as I can remember, and always sought to learn the “how” and the “why” in my subjects. I try to bring this into my tutoring approach. Rather than just read off a set of notes, I like to be able to explain a topic in a variety of ways to ensure comprehension is had. Based off an individual’s needs, I am flexible and can alter my approach to whatever method best suits them.
I have privately tutored general chemistry at my university for 1 year. I have privately given assistance to subjects ranging from algebra to calculus, including SAT math. I have experienced working with students of middle-school, high-school, and college ages.
