I have been teaching lessons since 2010 when I graduated high school and began attending Duquesne University for Music Education. I graduated in 2014 with a Bachelors of Science degree and a focus in voice. During my time at the Mary Pappert School of Music at Duquesne, I taught lessons, started a children's choir, sang in the select ensemble, sang on multiple studio recordings, accompanied other musicians, took private voice from Pittsburgh jazz legend Maureen Budway, and much more.
Since graduation, I taught 7-12 chorus and general music in a public school for one year. I then left to take a job as a full time musician in downtown Pittsburgh where I sang, played drums, bass, piano, and guitar. I also study Estill Voice International, an incredible program that teaches students to understand the physiology of their voice and sing whatever style they wish. I love performing and teaching and I can't wait to meet and work with more students.
Real world experience, I can play multiple instruments (guitar, bass, piano, drums, ukulele), ear training and theory training, years of receiving and giving music lessons.
I'm here to help you find your sound. We work together to set goals and improve your musicianship and help you play the songs you've always wanted to learn. We will work hard but we will have a lot of fun in the process. Can't wait to work with you!
