I am a French teacher for grades 6th-8th and taught K-8th grade French and translated Spanish in Philadelphia. I have many native Spanish speakers in my current classes taking French! I design lessons and tutor students who need help in French, Spanish, English, and ESL/ESOL. I am currently looking for weekday clients and Sundays. I am passionate for those who wish to learn the French or Spanish language and can identify with the struggles in learning another language. I design engaging activities that differentiate instruction which allow all students to be successful including students with IEP's, reluctant students, and students with special needs, autism, and disabilities. Activities include hands-on touch experience, matching photos or objects orally and/or physically, total physical response, visuals, listening pieces, videos, writing and reading activities, multiple choice responses, music ,drawing, laptop use, PowerPoints, and more. These activities incorporate that National World Language Standards which include teaching culture, communication, communities, connections, and comparisons. I graduated from Millersville University with a bachelor's degree in French secondary education K-12. I studied abroad in France where I received an internationally recognized diploma. I studied abroad in Spain and added my degree in Spanish education K-12 and I am dually certified in Spanish and French!
