I hold a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Science in Data Analytics, giving me a strong academic foundation in mathematics, programming, computer science, statistics, and data analysis. My education included extensive work with quantitative reasoning, problem solving, programming, algorithms, and applied mathematics. I am comfortable helping students understand both the underlying concepts and the practical steps needed to solve problems independently.
I have experience with one-on-one peer tutoring in computer science and mathematics, as well as teaching and explaining technical concepts in professional settings. I have also volunteered with K–8 students in STEM and creative activities and have extensive experience supporting school-age students with day-to-day academics, organization, and independent learning. My approach is patient and adaptive: I first identify where a student’s understanding breaks down, then explain the material in multiple ways, use examples, and work through problems alongside the student rather than simply providing answers.
I especially enjoy working with students who feel overwhelmed, have fallen behind, or need help developing stronger study and organizational habits. In addition to subject tutoring, I can help students break large assignments into manageable steps, prioritize missing work, develop study strategies, and build confidence in their ability to learn difficult material.
