I have graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, where I earned a BS in Natural Science, Masters in Elementary Education and earned three certifications (Elementary K-6, Reading Specialist, and Mid-level General Science). The most experience I had tutoring one on one was when I was a reading specialist intern. I worked with elementary student K-4. I had the highest test out rate in Title I. I became a teacher because I wanted to help students succeed. If a student is struggling, I want to know why and help. I was taught along time ago that one think people cannot take away from you is your mind. Learning should be fun and engaging. I myself am a life long learner. I would like to motivate students and help boost their self confidence, so they can succeed.
