I graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Christian Studies from Grand Canyon Univ. and went on to earn a MTh from Balamand Univ. in Lebanon. I also have an A.S. in Computer Info Mgmt. allowing me to work as an administrator for the past 25 years, earning awards in productivity, receiving promotions to senior positions, and training employees.
Studying under the direction of distinguished clergy and scholars has given me a solid foundation for teaching Christian Theology. During my studies I was able to write and produce articles explaining the Sunday Scripture readings, give a theological presentation to our church school class, and self-publish a children's spiritual book. For my Master's Thesis I wrote on the topic of Predestination. For over the past twenty years I have taught my own children the Bible while also studying many books from a wide range of theological traditions. My strengths are in Orthodox, Patristic and Biblical studies and also have knowledge in other subjects pertaining to Philosophy, Psychology, History, and Geo-politics. Over the past few years I have been able to tutor college level students in subjects such as World Religions and Biblical Literature.
I have a true love for Theology and the Bible and will certainly love to discuss these matters with anyone who is willing to learn. I do not consider it a burden to do whatever it takes to make sure a student understands the subjects at hand and will provide as much information as possible through the means of extra reading material or videos. Being patient with students and making the subject matter as enjoyable as possible is also very important to me. I will do whatever research is necessary in order to prepare for a lesson or provide an answer to a question. I consider it an honor to be able to share my knowledge and experience with others in order to help them succeed.
