I have been teaching chemistry of all levels for over thirty years. My degrees in biochemistry and science education make me well suited for assisting students in truly understanding the material they are working with. I am far more interested in helping students understand chemistry than just getting a good grade (although obviously you and I would both want you to earn an excellent grade. I have a great deal of enthusiasm for teaching and have won state teacher of the year awards as well as many other recognitions.
I am also a coauthor and reviewer of several study guides in the sciences (most notably the MCAT General chemistry review ) and I do freelance work with several companies and groups on standardized test development. As such, I am well aware of many things that I can impart to help students not only understand the material better, but also assist them in being better test takers.
