I am a Columbia University-trained reading specialist and Pennsylvania state-certified Spanish teacher with over a decade of experience working with students from Pre-K through 8th grade. I hold a Master’s degree in Reading Specialist Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and am certified as a Reading Specialist in New York and a Spanish teacher in Pennsylvania.
Throughout my career, I’ve taught in both public and private school settings, bringing a warm, structured, and student-centered approach to every tutoring session. I have experience delivering whole-class instruction, working with small groups, and providing one-on-one support—both in-person and virtually. My work includes supporting emerging readers, assisting students with dyslexia and other learning differences, and helping language learners build fluency and confidence.
My tutoring style is rooted in evidence-based practices, including Wilson influenced methods for reading, as well as interactive, immersive strategies for language acquisition. I tailor each session to the student’s unique needs and learning style, ensuring instruction is both effective and engaging.
Whether your child needs targeted support in reading, writing, or Spanish language development, I am committed to helping them build skills, confidence, and a love of learning.
