Bio

I'm Zach! I graduated with honors from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. in Computer Engineering. In school I was always eager to help my fellow students by tutoring one on one for courses that I had already passed. Since then I have gained professional experience as a Software Engineer in a variety of environments, from large corporations to small startups. This educational and professional experience has equipped me to tutor Math and Computer Science up to the undergraduate...

I'm Zach! I graduated with honors from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.S. in Computer Engineering. In school I was always eager to help my fellow students by tutoring one on one for courses that I had already passed. Since then I have gained professional experience as a Software Engineer in a variety of environments, from large corporations to small startups. This educational and professional experience has equipped me to tutor Math and Computer Science up to the undergraduate level.

After working as a Software Engineer for a few years I took some time off to travel around Latin America which, combined with private lessons, has brought me to fluency in Spanish. In those 2 years of traveling I also began private tutoring English as a second language to native Spanish speakers of all ages and proficiency levels and decided I'd really love to spend more time using my education and experience to help students reach their full potential, whether it be in English or the Math and Computer Science that I earned my degree and professional career with.

This work has my full attention and I will always respond promptly and provide the full support every student deserves. I use professional resources and I pride myself on employing a teaching methodology that is attentive to the individual needs of each student. If students or parents have any information they think will help me be the best teacher I can be for them I am always very eager to learn.
