About Franklin

Bio

I was a teaching assistant at Stevens Institute of Technology for 3 years, and have been a tutor for 2 years. I mostly teach high school/college aged students, although I am willing to teach students of all ages. I was on the Dean's List for every semester at Stevens, and am comfortable with many undergrad programming concepts, as I have been assisting students with them since high school. I also am willing to tutor for math concepts up to calculus.

I was a teaching assistant for the courses CS 135: Discrete Structures, CS 515: Fundamentals of Computing, and CS 334: Automata and Computing at my university. The courses covered subjects such as discrete mathematics, Python programming, basic functional programming in EOPL/Scheme, and automata theory. I am most comfortable working in Python and Java.

Great tutor

Franklin is an amazing tutor! I needed Franklin last minute for a Scheme homework assignment, and he was able to accomodate me on short notice and explain my homework in a timely manner. He helped me so much explaining concepts that my professor wans't able to convey and I felt as if I learned more than I ever had all semester. I would recommend him to anyone looking for coding help. I look forward to additional sessions!
