Certified and experienced Instructor of Russian as a foreign language

A native Russian speaker, an MA in teaching academic Russian and Literature from the Pedagogical Institute in Russia, and a teacher of Russian as a Foreign Language certified by the Moscow State University. I was born, lived, studied, and worked in Russia, where I served as a tutor of academic Russian and a proofreader for the local enterprise newspaper. In the USA, I've taught Russian to little learners and adults, to beginners and to advanced students, at a private school as a teacher of Russian as a foreign language, at church as a volunteer Russian teacher, in-person and online as a Russian instructor.
I’m dedicated to making learning Russian a fun and rewarding experience. I use engaging materials, including authentic resources, interactive exercises, games, and colorful visuals, simplify grammar to make it easy to understand, and tailor my lessons to fit each student’s unique needs, learning styles, and interests.
