My career includes being a visiting instructor in film, writing, and film production at Swarthmore College, as well as participating in the prestigious Sundance Screenwriters Lab. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of mentoring students ranging from high school seniors preparing for college applications to adult learners working on creative projects or professional writing. I’ve worked in both classroom settings and one-on-one tutoring environments, tailoring my methods to each individual’s needs. I’m passionate about helping students not just improve their writing, but find their own voice—whether it’s crafting a standout college essay, developing compelling characters for a novel, or diving deep into literary analysis.

My approach is hands-on and supportive, ensuring that every student feels confident in their work. I believe in creating a safe, non-judgmental space where students can explore their ideas and push their creative boundaries. Whether you’re struggling with grammar, need help brainstorming for a creative piece, or want to refine your essay before submission, I’m here to guide you through the process. Together, we’ll build the skills you need, and I’ll equip you with tools to tackle your writing challenges with confidence.
