I bring over 20 years of experience in biochemistry, neuroscience, and genomics, along with 10 years of experience in preclinical drug discovery for CNS indications and target triage. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Neuroscience, and completed postdoctoral training in Genomics and Pharmacology. Along the way, I’ve published research, contributed to textbooks, and mentored students at the high school, undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral levels.
Teaching has always been a big part of my journey, from tutoring high school students early on to leading neuroanatomy labs and mentoring trainees in research settings. My tutoring style focuses on understanding, not memorization. I work with you to identify gaps, explain key concepts in a clear way, and help you apply what you’ve learned so it really sticks. Sessions are interactive, personalized, and centered around your goals.
