I have been working as a tutor since high school and continued through my undergraduate studies at Bucknell University. I am studying under a unique dual degree program majoring in both Chemical Engineering and Management (class of 2026).
At Bucknell University I work for the Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) under the subjects of engineering and mathematics. Specific courses I have covered are Financial Accounting, Precalculus, Calculus 1-3, Differential Equations, Physics 1, Gen Chem 1, and Organic Chemistry. Through this position I have lead one-on-one, group, and drop in tutoring and help sessions. I have worked with multiple student background and ages as well as subjects covered. I have a focus on adapting to specific student learning styles as well as guiding students through metacognition to expand their learning habits. From this position I was trained and certified through CRLA.
Beyond the tutoring role I became an operations coordinator for the TLC. Within this job I worked to develop tutoring programs and support a team of 200 student tutoring staff.
