Hello!

My name is Gerald, and I'm currently a postdoctoral researcher at Lehigh University. In brief, we generate spin-entangled excitons in an organic semiconductor, and we can exploit this process to generate decoherence-resistant qubits, or potentially even to improve the efficiency of hetero-junction solar cells.

I've been teaching / tutoring for about 3 years now, and I've taught both in person and in an online environment. I've taught college-level physics, including classical mechanics, thermodynamics, electricity & magnetism, and beyond. I also have a math minor, so I carry some strong skills in algebra, trig, calculus, and other math domains.

I always try to ensure I'm teaching to my student's strengths. Some of my students do well in large groups, discussing core concepts and problem solving strategies. Some don't get so much from classes, but excel in 1-on-1 or in small groups, doing practice problems line by line. It's my job to find what works best for you!

Math and Physics are intimidating subjects, that's certainly true. Remember that everyone needs a little help from time to time!
