My experiences in the academic setting has provided me with the necessary tools such as troubleshooting, communicating effectively, and personalizing lesson plans.
Beyond my experiences as a teaching assistant, I studied membrane proteins in the biochemistry department at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. As a student researcher, I have performed biomedical research including data collection, processing, statistical analysis, and graphical representation. My experiences as a researcher have immensely strengthened my analytical technique in the laboratory setting and will allow me to show students how textbook information transfers to the real world.
I majored in Biochemistry at Temple University, and I graduated with a 3.75/4.00 GPA. I continued my education in the Master's program at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. After graduating, I served as a teaching assistant for Biochemistry, Genetics, Cellular Biology, Physiology, Immunology, and Neuroscience.
I have served as a tennis instructor for Education, Sports, Fun Summer Camp. I created groups and individual lessons, drills, and games for 21 students (ages 8-15) of all levels (beginner to high school varsity). I was a travel team member of my club team at Temple University and a varsity 1st doubles player of my high school team.
