I have been a registered nurse for over 13 years, spending most of my career in critical care in the emergency department and ICU. Working in high-acuity settings has given me a deep, practical understanding of pathophysiology, pharmacology, and the kind of critical thinking nursing school and the NCLEX demand. I love the "why" behind everything we do in nursing, and I'm good at making complex topics finally click.

Throughout my career I have spent a great deal of time teaching. I have precepted and oriented new graduate nurses and experienced travelers in the ER and ICU, walking them through everything from reading rhythms to managing crashing patients with a calm, systematic approach. I have also mentored nursing students during clinical rotations, helping them connect classroom lecture material to real patients at the bedside. Most of my teaching has been one-on-one or in small groups, and I've learned to meet each learner where they are, breaking big intimidating topics into pieces that actually make sense.
As a tutor, I help students with pathophysiology, anatomy, medications, critical thinking, and test-taking strategies, including NCLEX preparation. My sessions are conversational and judgment-free: we work through the material together, use real clinical examples so it sticks, and build the confidence to walk into exams and clinicals ready. Whether you're struggling with a specific subject or want a steady guide through nursing school, I would love to help.
