Education has always been a passion of mine. I currently teach college-level biology courses and have over five years of tutoring experience working with students of all ages, from middle school and high school students to college and adult learners. I hold two Master's Degrees, which have given me a strong foundation in biology, anatomy and physiology, healthcare, and the life sciences. In addition to my academic background, I have experience working in healthcare settings, allowing me to connect classroom concepts to real-world applications.
Throughout my tutoring and teaching experience, I have worked with students in one-on-one, online, and classroom settings. I have helped students build confidence in subjects ranging from biology and the health sciences to algebra and mathematics. I genuinely enjoy teaching algebra because it allows students to develop problem-solving skills and often helps them realize that math is much less intimidating than they initially believed. I understand that every student learns differently, and I believe one of the most important parts of teaching is meeting students where they are. My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence.
I know firsthand that subjects like biology, anatomy, physiology, science, and math can feel overwhelming at times. Whether you are trying to improve your grades, prepare for an exam, or strengthen your understanding of the material, I am committed to helping you succeed. I strive to make learning approachable, engaging, and even enjoyable, while giving students the tools and confidence they need to reach their academic goals. My greatest reward as an educator is seeing a student gain confidence in themselves and realize they are capable of mastering material they once thought was beyond their reach.
