Dr. Aaron is an educator, performer, and communication specialist whose work bridges the worlds of theater, voice, and language learning. He grew up in the United States with a deep love for performance and languages, studying theater and Spanish at the University of Michigan. Early on, he developed a comfort both on stage and in multilingual settings, which naturally led him to tutoring and teaching acting, singing, English as a second language, and accent modification across the United States, Asia, and Europe. These formative experiences shaped his belief that confidence, clarity, and self-expression are skills that are life-changing when unlocked.
Driven to deepen his expertise, Dr. Aaron returned to the U.S. to pursue advanced clinical training in voice and communication. He earned his Master’s degree at Northwestern University and a PhD in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Pittsburgh, specializing in voice and speech. Over nearly two decades, he worked as a voice therapist and educator at leading medical centers and universities, founded his own clinical practice, and taught at the university level. Throughout this time, he continued tutoring performers, singers, and multilingual speakers, blending evidence-based voice science with theatrical technique, musicality, and practical language instruction.
Today, Dr. Aaron draws on this rare interdisciplinary background to tutor and coach students from around the world in acting, singing, theater performance, ESL, and accent modification. He works with learners ranging from aspiring performers to international students and professionals seeking confident, natural communication in English as well as high-caliber performers who have won Grammy, Emmy, and Tony Awards. His teaching style is narrative, practical, and highly individualized, helping students not only refine technique, but also discover a voice that feels authentic, powerful, and fully their own.
