Hi! My name's Laura and I'm a 31-year-old nurse of eight years. I have both my RN and my BSN while currently in progress of obtaining my MSN as a Nurse Practitioner. I have backgrounds in Medical Surgical Nursing, Inpatient Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, Trauma Nursing, Inpatient Wound Care and Inpatient Dermatology. I also happen to be a bit of a computer wiz for those who are looking for any assistance for most programs run on a PC.

I have previously tutored students for the NCLEX and individual RN or BSN classes. My strengths include most aspects of nursing except Peds or OB (unless in the acute care aspect). I really enjoy assisting my fellow nurses or soon to be nurses as we all need to continue to educate ourselves and others.

I have tutored students in the past and have received positive feedback. I am easily able to recognize each students' style of learning and adapt my presentation of information in the best possible way for a true educational experience and lasting understanding.

I have tutored three students in the past who had previously failed their NCLEX, then passed their next testing after being tutored by myself.

I am advanced in most PC run computer programs. I'm what they would call a "super end-user". I can teach you how to do anything on Microsoft programs such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc. I also am able to set-up custom computer builds along with setting-up any hardware.

I truly enjoy educating those who seek to improve their knowledge, whether it be academic in nature or for pleasure. I have very flexible hours as I'm currently an online student myself.
