I'm Marta. Originally from a town near Barcelona, Spain, I am a certified teacher with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona and a Bachelor's Degree in History from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. After finishing college, I moved to the United Kingdom to improve my English skills, where I discovered my love of learning new languages but also of teaching my native languages, Catalan and Spanish.

I'm Marta. Originally from a town near Barcelona, Spain, I am a certified teacher with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona and a Bachelor's Degree in History from the Autonomous University of Barcelona. After finishing college, I moved to the United Kingdom to improve my English skills, where I discovered my love of learning new languages but also of teaching my native languages, Catalan and Spanish.
Apart from my passion in teaching Spanish and Catalan, I also have been teaching art (drawing and painting) in different education environments from elementary school to high school and summer camps, which have given me an understanding of student's needs, providing personalized instruction finding the best approach, boosting their knowledge and confidence, helping them to reach their full potential.
As a native Spanish speaker plus my teaching experience, I am a patient and dedicated tutor, confident in helping my students acquire an in-depth understanding of the language through phonics, everyday conversation, grammar and listening, among others, creating an environment where students are comfortable and have a pleasant experience.
