As a musician and music educator, I've traveled, studied and performed music in 18 different countries around the globe. As a songwriter, am the author of the Earth Day song that is sung around the world as well as the "I Have A Dream" MLK Day song. My passion is for sharing a world of music with students eager to discover how people around the world make music. Lessons can includes songs, interactive songs, cultural lessons, music books from around the world or even a trip to my Musical Instrument Museum.
I've spoken and presented at multiple Elementary Education conferences on the topic of music education for kids. I've also received both grants and a Citation from my state's governor commending me on my work in bringing multiculturalism to our area's school systems.
I have presented at multiple conferences in the state of NJ on bringing music to the special education classroom. I have also worked with a major school academy for children and adults with Autism to develop an E-Book on musical crafts and activities suited to students on the spectrum. My popular Youtube channel for kids also features ASL signing of both original and favorite songs.
