Bio

I am currently a certified Spec. Ed/ General Science teacher with a little over 10 years' experience. I am currently teaching Environmental Science, Earth and Space, Gen. Science, Algebra, and Language Arts. I have taught in the past Biology, Health, Science and Technology. I also have my Masters in Instructional Technology Specialist. I am currently a certified Spec. Ed/ General Science teacher with a little over 10 years' experience. I am currently teaching Environmental Science, Earth and Space, Gen. Science, Algebra, and Language Arts. I have taught in the past Biology, Health, Science and Technology. I also have my Masters in Instructional Technology Specialist. I also currently am involved in my school district's online program as well, tutoring students on homebound instruction. Before I started teaching I was a Family Based Counselor specializing in Domestic Violence. I am also certified in Life Skills and Bullying Prevention. In my tutoring no matter the subject I use real life examples to relate material to students. I also keep very current in my methods in using technology relate-able to today's generation. Everything I do is to have students correlate and understand the material in a way that will work individually with the students learning style. I also feel it is very important for all my students to understand the reason why and not just regurgitate facts and information. My goal is to make each student be able to be reach their maximum potential, and ultimately to be successful.
