I have taught students from age four to twelve, but I have been primarily focused on students between ages five to eight. I have taught students with a varying range of abilities, and have spent most of my small group and one on one instruction focused on students that need additional support to achieve the necessary skills to succeed in their grade level.
From the beginning of my career I have received consistent and extensive training in current best practices for teaching elementary students in all of their subjects. My primary focus for professional development and training has been on phonics instruction and the science of reading. I am passionate about supporting all learners in their educational journey!
