My name is Travis, and I bring 23 years of teaching experience, including over ten years of teaching AP courses. I hold a master’s degree in History and have had the privilege of preparing AP students from 9th to 12th grade in AP U.S. History, AP European History, and AP Human Geography.
With over five years of experience as an AP U.S. History Reader, I have a deep understanding of the exam’s structure, scoring criteria, and the key skills required for strong Free Response Questions (FRQs) and Short Answer Questions (SAQs). My approach focuses not only on mastering content but also on building the confidence and critical thinking skills necessary for success. I've taken my skills to other organizations such as the National Science and Math Initiative as well as the AP for All Program, which predominantly was in New York City.
I firmly believe that all students can achieve their goals with the right guidance and strategies. I look forward to helping students maximize their potential and perform their best on exam day.
