Hi, I’m Abby! Currently, I am a freshman in college. I have taken 10 AP classes (AP Calculus AB and BC, AP Chemistry, AP Physics I and II, AP Statistics, etc.) and maintained over a 4.0 GPA throughout my high school career, graduating summa cum laude and at the top of my class. I have always enjoyed math, and I love to help others with the subject. I have plenty of experience tutoring all types of math and science. In the past, I have tutored pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, pre-Calculus, trigonometry, Calculus AB, honors and AP Chemistry, biology, AP Physics I, and more. I have worked with many students in the past, and I am determined to help as many people as I can with their school work!
My goal with all of my students is to leave them feeling confident and comfortable with their schoolwork. My process often begins by figuring out the specifics of what a student needs help with, and starting from there. I am happy to provide my own notes to explain concepts, as well as worksheets to work through problems with a student in real time. Any resources (classwork, previous homework, previous tests etc.) that a student is able to provide would also be great items to help progress a student. Any feedback from students and/or parents is welcome throughout this process.
I often help my peers and younger siblings with their schoolwork and homework in my free time. I have experience tutoring various ages, and would love to work with anyone I can. I am easy to reach, flexible with the hours I am able to tutor, and will always respond as quickly as I can. My students are my #1 priority. Please feel free to contact me with any questions/concerns if you are interested!
