As a recent graduate from Shippensburg University with a degree in Spanish, I bring both a strong academic background and a genuine passion for the language to my tutoring sessions. While I am new to formal tutoring, my education has given me a solid foundation in Spanish grammar, vocabulary, and culture, and I am eager to pass that knowledge along to students. I believe that learning a new language should be an exciting process, so I focus on creating lessons that engage students in a variety of ways. I’m particularly enthusiastic about incorporating interactive activities, such as, games and real-world conversations, to help students connect with the material in a meaningful way. This was how I learned the best and helped many others as well. By making lessons fun and engaging, I aim to foster an environment where students feel comfortable practicing their Spanish without fear of making mistakes, which is a key part of the learning process.

Although I don’t have formal tutoring experience yet, I am committed to helping students of all levels build confidence and enthusiasm for Spanish. I am open to adapting my approach to meet each student’s individual needs, whether that means focusing on speaking, listening, or grammar skills. My goal is to create an environment where learning is enjoyable and students feel motivated to continue improving. I also aim to make cultural connections in our lessons, helping students understand how Spanish is spoken and used around the world. I am excited to learn and grow as a tutor alongside my students, and I’m dedicated to creating a supportive and interactive space that makes learning Spanish both effective and enjoyable.
