Before we worked together, I was only strictly trained in textual analysis as a history of philosophy student. Our exchanges opened me to a common-sense philosophical way of thinking by teaching me how to transform my organic thoughts into proper argumentative steps. Elena is always equipped with a general understanding of the subject I’m working on; when she is not as familiar with the texts as I do, talking through my interpretation often challenge what I previously thought on the issue and force me to develop new arguments.
