I am currently pursuing my MD and PhD at the University of Pittsburgh through the Medical Science Training Program. Before medical school I received my MPH in Epidemiology from Oregon Health & Science University and a BS in Microbiology with a minor in Chemistry from Oregon State University. Previously I worked at the for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and have published over 20 peer-reviews papers.

I'm a 3rd MD/PhD student who score 514 on the MCAT (90th percentile). My subjects of specialty are CARS (Critical Analysis and Reading Skills) and PSBB (Psychological, Social, and Biological Foundations of Behavioral), where I exceeded the 95th percentile on each practice exam, including my real MCAT. Before medical school I spent three years conducting Health Services Research with the US Department of Veterans Affairs and I have over 20 peer reviewed publications. My approach is completely individualized to the student. If you’re just beginning your prep, that’s excellent! If you’re part way in or re-taking your MCAT, I will take a history of your approach which will inform us how to proceed. If you’d like, I’m happy to devise a systematic game plan across your study period. Subsequent meetings are tailored to this history and what we identify as your points of growth.

Great Tutor-I accidentally rate a 2 stars but I meant 5!

I accidentally rated a 2 stars but I meant 5 stars! Donald is very patient and explains every question slowly because he knows English is my second language. He is knowledgeable about Epidemiology. He helps me with RCT, cohort study, case-control, measurement errors, selection bias, etc. He helped me with understanding all the questions that I got wrong in my midterm. Highly recommended!
