My background is heavily influenced by music. I have my Masters in Music Performance from Carnegie Mellon University. I've studied music history and theory extensively during my musical education. Music theory is basically like learning multiple, yet similar languages, and has definitely given me a greater understanding of how to think logically which has made me an excellent software developer.
