With over 23 years of experience teaching Spanish, I bring both deep subject knowledge and a genuine passion for helping students succeed. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a minor in English from Duquesne University, a Pennsylvania teaching license, and a Master’s degree in Foreign Language Education from the University of Pittsburgh.
I specialize in supporting students who want to strengthen grammar, improve listening, writing and speaking skills. For AP Spanish students, I focus on exam-specific skills, AP themes, cultural comparisons, and fluency under time constraints. For high school and college students, I help clarify complex grammar, refine pronunciation, and develop strong analytical and conversational skills.
My greatest strength as an educator is my ability to adapt to different learning styles. I explain concepts in multiple ways until they make sense, breaking down challenging material into clear, manageable steps. My lessons are structured, encouraging, and goal-oriented—designed to reduce stress, build confidence, and produce real academic results.
I can help students turn confusion into clarity and reach their academic goals with confidence.
Contact me to discuss your goals or book a session, and let’s work together to help you feel confident and prepared in Spanish.
