I think the education of the next generation of writers and and artists is very, very important, and it is something that I am truly passionate about. I consider myself to be a very understanding and patient person, and I love assisting others in their understanding of new topics and subjects. I look at each new student as a different chance for myself to both make a difference in someone else's life and learn something new about myself as well, by way of each student's different obstacles or needs. Throughout college I took years of classes on the subject of the English language, including grammar and phonetics, creative writing, screenwriting/playwriting, English literature, and a very intensive study on the great William Shakespeare. My background as a stage performer also instilled me a certain confidence in public speaking and presentation, which is a necessary companion for any writer or fine arts advocate.
I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in the Study of Music Theater from the University of Hartford, and graduated honors.
