Bio

I'm a certified English teacher and Guidance Counselor with over 20 years experience in the classroom. I hold a B.S in English Education and M.S. in Guidance Counseling from Duquesne University. I will graduate in May with my Reading Specialist certificate (Master’s in Reading and Literacy).

I have taught many subjects in my years in the school system including College in high school programs, American Literature, British Literature, World Literature, English, Spelling, Social Studies,...

As a student, I took ballet for 16 years, mostly at the Pittsburgh Youth Ballet. In addition, I have studied at Pittsburgh Ballet Theater, the Joffrey Ballet, North Carolina School of the Arts and attended the Pennsylvania Governor's School of the Arts as a ballet major. I am currently a teacher at the Pittsburgh Youth Ballet and have been for 9 years.
