Hi, my name is Connie and I am an Experienced College Consultant and Results-oriented SAT/ACT/ISEE/SSAT Test-Prep and Writing Tutor. As an independent college consultant and College Expert, I work with students of all academic abilities who are planning for college or graduate school. I have PA certification in both teaching (K-12) and school counseling (K-12), a Master's degree in School Counseling, and have 25+ years of teaching, counseling, and tutoring experience. I have been a private college counselor for 21 years and have lots of experience helping students with their college applications, essays, and college lists.

I currently provide Test Prep for the SAT/ACT/ISEE/SSAT Tests in the Reading, English/Verbal, and Writing test sections. For the ISEE Lower Level test, I provide tutoring in all Test sections, including Math. Through our sessions, I help students become familiar with the test questions, learn test-prep strategies, work on pacing, and learn the skills and knowledge needed to achieve successful scores. I provide lots of practice to get students ready and give Homework. I know that taking standardized tests is difficult and can cause anxiety for some students. As a knowledgeable and patient tutor, I can give students strategies to help with their anxiety so they can feel more confident and ready for test day.

I am passionate about helping students achieve success and improve their test scores. I can help students work on reading comprehension, English grammar and usage, writing skills, and essay development. I also tutor upper elementary and middle school students in Writing.

I chose Connie to assist my grandson with his SAT/ACT scores in reading/writing based on others' testimonials. Connie was able to establish rapport, which is so critical to the learning process, with my grandson, who appeared to have much respect for her. She was reliable and dependable in all respects throughout the tutoring process. I don't think anyone could find a finer tutor. However, my grandson's scores alone speak volumes regarding Connie's abilities. He raised his score by approximately 140 points!! Could not ask for more.
