I also have experience tutoring, though not professionally. I would like the opportunity to share my knowledge with others, and am passionate about education. Further, I am willing to teach myself about a subject to further my students' education. I view education as a collaborative effort, and I feel this makes me ideal as a tutor, since I believe in learning while I teach. Especially in the study of the arts and the English language, once someone learns some basic guide-lines, tutoring cannot help but become a collaboration, the student and teacher working together and showing each other new things. Ultimately, I have been given the opportunity to work with teachers who never told me what to think, but encouraged me to think, period. I would like the opportunity to share that experience. My hours are flexible.
