My teaching experience has mostly been with university students. At UC Berkeley I spent two years as a TA teaching large discussion and lab sections for data science courses such as Data C8 and Data C100. Besides teaching, I also led the development of worksheets, homework assignments, and exams for these classes. At Carnegie Mellon University I served as a TA for 36-235 and 36-236, the introductory probability and statistics courses.
I've been a teacher to hundreds of college-aged students with varying levels of math and coding backgrounds. I am confident in my abilities to cater to students with different experience levels, especially using non-technical language and incorporating digestible analogies and examples towards beginners. Having also been in school until recently, I can empathize greatly with students and quickly recognize what they might struggle with and how to tackle that.
