I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Genetics from the Rutgers University Honors College in New Brunswick with a Presidential full-tuition scholarship and a Certificate in Computational Genetics. I am currently attending a 4 year MD program (Class of 2027) at the University Pittsburgh School of Medicine. As someone with Crohn's disease, I understand firsthand the challenges of navigating higher education with a chronic illness, and thus am someone who prioritizes empathy and patience in my approach to tutoring.

I recognize firsthand that not everyone has perfect stats to get into medical school. I had an average MCAT Score and a high GPA, and strongly believe that crafting a strong narrative is what helped me secure an acceptance to osteopathic and allopathic medical schools (including a Top 20 program) and 10+ interviews. I have also helped either premedical peers or students get accepted into medical school, specifically in organizations like the Honors College Ally Peer Mentorship program at Rutgers University and the Prescribe it Forward mentorship program. I can specifically help with medical school application essay review, school list, strategy, activity recommendations, and more.

From a test prep experience in preparation for college, I scored a 35 on my ACT in 2016 (34 English, 35 Math, 35 Reading, 34 Reading). Given that the ACT has largely stayed the same in approach and content, I am confident I can help you with practice, strategy, and resources. From test prep experience in medical school, I passed USMLE Step 1 on my first attempt and am confident I can also similarly help with practice, strategy, and resources.

I also have underwent the medical school application cycle in 2022-2023 myself with 10+ interviews and 4 acceptances to medical schools.

I have helped review college and medical school personal statements for peers and mentees. My professional experiences included serving as an Honors College Ally Peer Mentor and serving as a Prescribe it Forward Peer Mentor. I also apply my own personal experiences with gaining acceptance to multiple competitive colleges including Rutgers University Honors College on a full scholarship, Johns Hopkins University, UNC Chapel Hill, and acceptances to four medical schools including a T20 ranked University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
USMLE

USMLE

I am a 4th Year Medical Student who Passed USMLE Step 1 on First Attempt in January 2025. I am familiar with the third-party resources of Anking anki deck, UWorld question bank, and Sketchy for Micro/Pharm/Pathology. As someone who struggled with discipline initially, I am confident sharing lessons from my personal experience in how to boost your chances of passing within a dedicated study period. I also closely worked with the Office of Student Affairs Academic Success Team to apply and identify evidence-based learning principles.
